Dear 8th Grade Families,
As we approach the end of the school year, we’re excited to celebrate our students' accomplishments with a variety of 8th grade activities and events. Please review the following important reminders regarding eligibility requirements for participation. These expectations were communicated at the beginning of the year and remain in effect.

Participation in extracurricular events is a privilege. To attend any of the end-of-year activities, students must meet all of the following criteria:

Attendance: Not on attendance probation. Students are placed on probation after reaching 18 or more absences.
Discipline: Fewer than 16 disciplinary points (per the AAM Code of Conduct).
Students who have shown sustained behavioral improvement may qualify to have points reduced. Contact your child’s Mr. Lyons for more information.
Suspensions: Not on a 10-day activities restriction due to recent suspension.
Financial Obligations: All fines and cafeteria balances must be paid prior to each eligibility deadline.
